THE FALL/WINTER 1999-2000 ISSUE OF "VACCINATE ADULTS!" IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE WEB AND IS IN THE MAIL

The fall/winter 1999 issue of "VACCINATE ADULTS!" is now available on the Immunization Action Coalition's website and hard copies of the 12-page publication have been mailed. "VACCINATE ADULTS!" is an immunization and hepatitis B publication for adult medicine specialists. It is an abbreviated version of "NEEDLE TIPS and the Hepatitis B Coalition News." If you receive "NEEDLE TIPS" you don't need "VACCINATE ADULTS!" because everything contained in "VACCINATE ADULTS!" is also found in "NEEDLE TIPS." 

You can download the entire issue of "VACCINATE ADULTS!" from the web or choose to view selected articles from the publication's table of contents below.

WHAT'S IN THE LATEST ISSUE OF "VACCINATE ADULTS!?"

The fall/winter 1999-2000 issue of "VACCINATE ADULTS!" is full of practical immunization information you can use and distribute to health professionals and patients. The list printed below summarizes the features in the latest issue.  Remember that all of the materials created and distributed by the Immunization Action Coalition (IAC), including "VACCINATE ADULTS!," are camera ready and copyright free. All items published in "VACCINATE ADULTS!" are reviewed for technical accuracy by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

4. "Give these people influenza vaccine!" A one-page reminder for health professionals listing individuals for whom influenza vaccine is recommended. Based on the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization  Practices (ACIP) of the U.S. Public Health Service.

5. NEW! Influenza Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) from CDC. This new Influenza VIS from CDC carries the date of June 1, 1999, and is the most current version of CDC's Influenza VIS. Make sure you throw your 1998-99 version in the recycling bin and substitute this new one.

6. Revised! "Summary of Recommendations for Adult Immunization." This table combines the recommendations for adult immunization onto one page. It now includes guidelines for the use of Lyme disease vaccine.
