INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON COMBINATION VACCINES SET FOR FEBRUARY 2000

The International Symposium on Combination Vaccines will be held February 2-4, 2000, at the Natcher Conference Center on the campus of the National  Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. According to the conference literature, "the objective of the meeting is to fully explore laboratory, clinical,  and epidemiologic data integral to developing and licensing new safe and effective combination vaccines." 

The symposium is presented by the National Vaccine Program Office and jointly sponsored by the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug  Administration, the National Institutes of Health, and the World Health Organization.

CONFERENCE ON VACCINE RESEARCH TO BE HELD APRIL 30 - MAY 2, 2000

The 3rd Annual Conference on Vaccine Research will be held in Washington, D.C. from April 30 - May 2, 2000. The conference is sponsored by the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases in collaboration with the Centers  for Disease Control and Prevention and many other organizations.

The 10th International Symposium on Viral Hepatitis and Liver Disease will be held April 9-13, 2000, in Atlanta, Georgia. This meeting is sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service in collaboration with the World Health Organization and hosted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. EVERY CHILD BY TWO PUBLISHES BOOK ON IMMUNIZATION  REGISTRIES

Every Child By Two (ECBT), the Carter/Bumpers Campaign for Early Immunization, has published a book about immunization registries called "Registries are the Gift of a Lifetime." The book details the benefits registries  bring to providers, health plans, schools, and families.
