IAC Express: Weekly immunization news and information

Issue 1468: December 16, 2019

Reminder: Please Support the Immunization Action Coalition!

Please donate to IAC—our year-end appeal

As 2019 draws to a close, we are asking our IAC Express subscribers to consider making a tax-deductible donation to support the important work of the Immunization Action Coalition (IAC).

You can donate online at www.immunize.org/support.

Our talented staff of 29 is the largest of any nonprofit immunization organization in the United States and is dedicated exclusively to providing healthcare professionals, the public, and policymakers—as well as the media—with up-to-date immunization information and materials. We are proud to be your trusted resource.

Every week throughout the year, IAC Express provides you with the critical immunization information you need in your work. Continuously since November 1997, we have published 1,468 issues of IAC Express.

We bring you news of current ACIP recommendations, newly released VISs, helpful patient handouts, new staff education materials, and much more.

Throughout the year, our “Ask the Experts” feature presents answers to your questions from national immunization experts.

Our greatest satisfaction comes from believing that IAC Express plays an important role in your ability to prevent disease and save lives.

If you feel the same way, please make a donation at www.immunize.org/support.

Approximately 90% of IAC’s revenue goes directly to carrying out our widely relied-upon immunization projects, with a very low 10% used for administrative costs.

IAC’s vital role within the nation’s immunization community is summarized in our end-of-the-year appeal letter which can be viewed at www.immunize.org/support/2019_appeal_letter.pdf.

We wish you health and happiness in this holiday season, and look forward to continuing our immunization work together in the new year.

Happy Holidays!

Deborah L. Wexler, MD, Executive Director
and the entire staff of the Immunization Action Coalition
