We're giving away bulk copies (up to 100 per request) of the Spring/Summer 2000 issue of NEEDLE TIPS to make room for our

EVERY CHILD BY TWO OFFERS BIMONTHLY IMMUNIZATION NEWSLETTER
Every Child By Two (ECBT), the organization founded by Betty
Bumpers and Rosalyn Carter to protect all children from vaccine-preventable diseases,
announced that its newsletter will now be published every two months and that
its "On the Hill" supplement will be delivered as immunization-related events
occur on Capitol Hill.

CDC PUBLISHES ERRATUM ON POLIOVIRUS TYPE 2 TRANSMISSION
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published an erratum in the April 6, 2001, issue of Morbidity and
Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) about the previous week's article on wild poliovirus type 2 transmission. The
complete erratum reads as follows:

Erratum: Vol. 50, No. 12
In the article, "Apparent Global Interruption of Wild Poliovirus Type 2 Transmission," an error occurred in the
first paragraph on page 223. The last wild poliovirus type 2 isolated was from Aligarh, Western Uttar Pradesh, in
October
1999.
