IOM IMMUNIZATION SAFETY REVIEW COMMITTEE TO MEET JULY 16 IN CAMBRIDGE, MASS.
The Immunization Safety Review Committee of the Institute of Medicine (IOM) will meet on July 16, 2001, at the Charles
Hotel in Cambridge, Mass., to discuss thimerosal and neurodevelopmental disorders. This meeting is open to
the public but space is limited. Register for the meeting by July 9 by either
calling (202) 334-1342 or sending an email to imsafety@nas.edu Please
include provide your name, affiliation, and contact information. The meeting
agenda will be posted on the IOM website at http://www.iom.edu/imsafety
by July 2.

"It's Federal Law! You Must Give Your Patients Current Vaccine Information Statements (VISs)." Revised to include the April 24, 2001,
influenza VIS, this educational piece explains what VISs are, explains why and how to use VISs,
lists the dates of all the current versions, and explains how to obtain VISs.

Immunization" in Turkish.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON IMMUNIZATION COALITIONS SET FOR JANUARY 9-11, 2002, IN SAN ANTONIO
The Fourth National Conference on Immunization Coalitions will be held January 9-11, 2002, at the Marriott Rivercenter
in San Antonio. This conference for local, state, and national coalition leaders will address the key
issues facing all immunization coalitions, including infant, adolescent, and
adult immunization topics.
