SPRING/SUMMER ISSUE OF "VACCINATE ADULTS!" IS AVAILABLE ON THE WEB AND IS BEING MAILED THIS WEEK

The spring/summer 1999 issue of "VACCINATE ADULTS!" is now
available on the web (12 pages) and hard copies are in the mail.

"VACCINATE ADULTS!" is an immunization and hepatitis B
publication for adult medicine specialists. It is an abbreviated version of "NEEDLE TIPS & the Hepatitis B Coalition News." If you receive "NEEDLE TIPS" you don't need "VACCINATE ADULTS!" because everything contained in "VACCINATE ADULTS!" is also found in "NEEDLE TIPS."

A letter from U.S. Congressman Joe Moakley, who contracted hepatitis B virus infection and received a successful liver transplant, urges everyone to check with their providers about immunization against hepatitis B. A second letter from William Schaffner, MD, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, urges all health care workers to be immunized against influenza every year.
