VAERS, co-sponsored by the FDA and CDC, is a national reporting system for U.S.-licensed vaccines. Anyone can report an adverse reaction to a vaccine. Healthcare professionals are required to report specific adverse events, and vaccine manufacturers are required to report all known adverse events.
