1.  Needle Tips readers--please fill out our online survey

If you read Needle Tips, our semiannual publication for healthcare professionals involved in immunizing children or immunizing across the lifespan (child/teen/adult), we'd appreciate your filling out a short online survey.

Our colleagues at CDC are asking us to find out precisely how Needle Tips influences the delivery of immunization services in the United States. To learn this, we have prepared a survey that lets you tell us, very specifically, about the ways you use Needle Tips content and about the impact the content has on your immunization knowledge and practices.

As an example, CDC wants us to find out not only whether you read about changes in vaccination recommendations in Needle Tips, but also if you then implement those changes in your practice. As another example, CDC would like to know if, when you copy one of the educational pieces in Needle Tips, you then actually distribute the piece to your patients (or to the parents of your young patients).

They need to know what you learn from Ask the Experts and how you use our summaries of recommendations for child/teen/adult immunization, our information about the importance of giving the hepatitis B birth dose, our charts on vaccine storage and handling, and . . . we're sure you get the drift.

To make it easy for you to send us your input, we have kept the survey short--it will take you no more than ten minutes to complete. Please take time now to take the survey at this link: http://www.immunize.org/surveynt2a

Thank you for your help!

2 Vaccinate Adults readers, we've got an online survey for you, too

If you read Vaccinate Adults, our semiannual publication written especially for adult medicine specialists, we'd appreciate your filling out a short online survey about the specific ways you use the content in Vaccinate Adults and about the impact the content has on your immunization knowledge and practices.

Our colleagues at CDC are asking us to find out precisely how Vaccinate Adults influences the delivery of immunization services in the United States. For example, they want us to find out whether you, as a Vaccinate Adults reader, not only read about strategies to increase immunization rates, but then implement the use of standing orders in your practice or clinic. Here's another example: They would like to know if, when you copy an adult patient education piece, you use it to communicate the value of adult vaccination to your patients.

They need to know what you learn from Ask the Experts and how you use our screening questionnaires, our charts on vaccine contraindications and precautions, our staff training materials, and . . . we're sure you get the idea.

To make it easy for you to send us your input, we have kept the survey short--it will take you no more than ten minutes to complete. Please take time now to take the survey at this link: http://www.immunize.org/surveyvaa

Thanks for your help!
