The vaccine administration training video, "Immunization Techniques: Safe, Effective, Caring," comes in two formats:

Developed in 2001 by the California Department of Health Services Immunization Branch in collaboration with a team of national experts, the video is considered a vital immunization tool. In a short 35 minutes, it teaches best practices for administering intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous (SC) vaccines to infants, children, and adults. It is designed for use as a "hands-on" instructional program for new staff and as a refresher course for experienced vaccinators.
